Title 24 Compliant roofing products are CRRC rated for “Solar Reflectivity”, offering a cooler roof / attic space and ideally saving on energy costs.
While there is no substitution for adequate ventilation, products with an SRI (Solar Reflective Index) of at least 16 comply with California Energy Code: Title 24, and products with an SRI of 20 or more also meet LA County requirements (Title 31).
